The Pharmacy Client Services Program acts as your advocate for all contracting issues, concerns, and problems. Working in tandem with Premier, we secure industry-leading contracts and communicate the latest opportunities to our members, enabling them to take advantage of one of the most competitive purchasing models and client services platforms in the market. Among our duties, we monitor and manage all performance program enrollments. We also work with manufacturers to move rebates to upfront discounts, establish IDN grouping when applicable, and advocate for disproportionate share hospitals (DSH) facilities to obtain 340B-like inpatient pricing.
We represent our members on pharmacy contracting at the national level by participating in various Premier Pharmacy committees and task forces like the National Pharmacy Committee (NPC), the Blood Products Contract Task Force, and the I.V. Contract Task Force.
Our relationship with wholesalers helps us monitor contract pricing loaded in a timely fashion, as well as monthly credit and rebill reports. We also can request credit and rebills when applicable, help set up new account numbers when applicable (e.g., methadone, drop-ships, and 340B), and submit backorder reimbursement when applicable.
We also deliver potential cost-savings reports to our members, including information on contract-to–alternative contract opportunities and off contract–to-contract opportunities.
